Are you a motivated and confident construction professional with strong commercial expertise? Skanska is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our commercial building project team in London. You will play a pivotal role in the commercial management and successful delivery of a medium to large-scale construction project valued at £100m.
What you’ll do:
* Control project cost management and provide regular financial reports
* Administer contract documents and manage change control processes timely
* Monitor project costs and prepare accurate forecasts including CVRs
* Manage subcontractor agreements, valuations, and payments
* Support design change management aligned with project strategy
* Maintain comprehensive records and ensure compliance with company policies
* Foster a motivated, inclusive, and respectful team environment
* Develop team members through leadership and progression plans
What you'll bring to the role:
* Strong experience in CVRs, reporting, and forecasting on large build projects (£30m+)
* Proven ability managing multiple subcontract packages (£5-20m)
* Working knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, Bespoke)
* BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
* Preferably ICES or RICS qualified or working towards accreditation
* SMSTS qualified with relevant CSCS card
* Excellent communication skills with clients and supply chain
* Skilled in Excel and knowledgeable of NRM Rules, construction processes, legal contracts, and health & safety standards
