What You Will Do
As a Senior Strategy Manager for Airlines within the Travel Line of Business, you will play a key role in driving strategic growth and strengthening Allianz Partners’ global position in the airline segment. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer and partner needs, and the ability to develop and execute impactful strategies across multiple geographies. You will ensure our product and solution offerings remain competitive and well‑positioned, while fostering collaboration across teams to achieve success in this critical segment.
You Will
* Develop, communicate, and execute the strategic direction and growth agenda for the airline segment to enhance market position and maximize business opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Market Intelligence team to leverage market analysis and trends, identifying opportunities and risks to shape informed, segment‑specific strategies and actions.
* Define clear target customer profiles and value propositions, delivering tailored solutions that meet the needs of customers and partners in the airline sector.
* Optimize the positioning of our product and solution portfolio within the airline segment to achieve competitive advantages and increase market share.
* Lead innovation initiatives to drive sustainable growth and long‑term success in the airline segment.
* Work closely with Go‑to‑Market Product & Marketing, Global Strategic Partnerships, and Segment Success Teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
* Provide strategic guidance to ensure all airline‑related activities align with overarching business objectives.
What You Will Bring
* 8‑10 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, consulting, or related fields, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
* Proven expertise in developing and implementing business strategies, with a focus on segment‑specific approaches, value propositions, and customer profiles.
* Strong track record in product innovation, standardization, and underwriting partnerships, with an emphasis on scalability, client‑centricity, and sustainable profitability.
* Experience collaborating with diverse, international teams.
* Ability to thrive in an environment that leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud‑based tools, while adhering to high standards of data governance, security, and ethical use.
* Strong networking and communication skills.
