Goods In / Goods Out Supervisor Wednesbury £33,000 - £35,000 per annum Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Goods In / Goods Out Supervisor to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation based in Wednesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Supervising and supporting a team of 4–5 warehouse operatives Overseeing all Goods In and Goods Out operations Ensuring all deliveries and dispatches are processed accurately and efficiently Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing stock Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes Booking stock onto internal systems accurately Preparing and checking dispatch paperwork Monitoring stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse Operating FLT Counterbalance as required Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping Liaising with warehouse, transport, and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations Supporting continuous improvement within warehouse processes Ensuring all team members are working efficiently and following procedures correctly
Requirements Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence – essential Previous experience within a Goods In / Goods Out supervisory role Experience supervising or leading a small warehouse team Strong computer literacy and confidence using warehouse systems Excellent attention to detail Good organisational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively Reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach
