Job Coaches Required
Location: NN3 area, Northampton
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: 110-130 per day
About the Role
The successful candidate will support students with additional learning needs and/or disabilities in developing employability skills, accessing work placements, and preparing for future employment opportunities.
You will work closely with students, employers, tutors, and support staff to help learners achieve their career goals and gain confidence in workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students during work placements and employability activities
* Help learners develop communication, confidence, and workplace skills
* Liaise with local employers to secure suitable placements
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback
* Assist students with CV writing, interview preparation, and job searching
* Promote independence and positive outcomes for learners
* Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
* Experience working with young people or adults with additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with employers and students
* Organised, patient, and adaptable approach
* Relevant qualification in education, coaching, support work, or employability support desirable
* Enhanced DBS check required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
