We are on the hunt for a talented junior lawyer to join our Legal team to cover a period of Parental leave for up to 12 months. You'll bring experience of working in an inhouse, commercial legal team and be keen to develop your skills across a broad commercial practice. This is a busy team, advising across a range of commercial legal work so you'll need to comfortable to balance multiple priorities and engage a range of stakeholders.
Here's the key skills, experience and competencies we're looking for you to bring:
* To be a qualified as a solicitor (typically around 0-3yrs PQE) with some inhouse experience
* Experience of advising on a range of commercial contracts and commercial arrangements
* Previous exposure to consumer regulations, advertising and marketing would be really beneficial
* Strong commercial awareness
* Ideally previous experience of using a range of Legal Tech (CLMs, Legal Ai, matter management tools etc), or if not, a willingness to learn
* You’re adaptable and eager to develop in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* You have a proactive and pragmatic approach and are able to see commercial solutions
* You’re highly organised and are skilled at prioritising tasks
* You have great communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
* You’ll be enthusiastic and motivated by the opportunity to have a broad legal practice, with a willingness to learn quickly and ‘get stuck in’
* You’ll be a supportive team-player with good humour under pressure
This is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months to cover a period of parental leave starting in July 2025.
A hybrid role working from one of our London hubs 2 days per week.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you'll be joining a team of high-performing, ambitious go-getters who take on a wide variety of work, navigating the many legal challenges involved in operations a multi-regulated, consumer-facing business.
Your key stakeholders will include colleagues across Customer support, Compliance, Marketing, Partners and Sales.
We deliver progress. What you’ll do and how you will make an impact
* Supporting the business to achieve commercial outcomes across various projects (with guidance from senior team members)
* Working closely across the Energy, Finance, Telecoms and Technology teams to devise solutions that proactively manage legal & regulatory risk, whilst advancing our business goals.
* Advising on commercial and technology contracts
* Contributing to the legal resources required for our products such as terms and conditions, marketing and brand material, policies and guidance for our partners and technology teams
* Acting as an advisor to the teams which support our products such as Customer support, Communications, Partners and Sales & Marketing
* Engaging with stakeholders at different levels and giving legal advice in an engaging and accessible format
* Managing and prioritising incoming requests for legal support from multiple channels (e.g. Slack, gmail, googledocs, CLM etc)
