Portfolio Lead required on an initial 12-month FTC by a leading Financial Services client based in Leeds. This is a hybrid role with 2 days / week on site.
This is a strategic and delivery-focused role, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programmes and projects across the business. The Portfolio Lead will ensure all initiatives are aligned to the wider group strategy, effectively prioritised, and delivered in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
You will work closely with the executive team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, driving effective transformation and ensuring successful execution.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of high-impact programmes and projects
* Strong portfolio planning, prioritisation, and resource management skills
* Experience in portfolio-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial control
* Deep understanding of organisational change, transformation, and business readiness
* Background in IT, Operations, or Regulatory-driven change initiatives
* Recognised certification in Project Management (e.g. APMP, PMP, Prince2)
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
* Confident working with executive teams to support strategic planning and governance
* Skilled in risk management, dependency tracking, and benefits realisation
* Financial Services experience is essential

Working alongside the Operations Director and senior sponsors, you will provide transparency of delivery, escalate risks where needed, and support continuous improvement across the portfolio.
The salary on offer is up to £70,000 + 15% on-target bonus + excellent benefits package.
