Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Experienced Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need within their own home. Your role will be vital in promoting their well-being, independence, and dignity.
Requirements
* A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role
* Previous experience in care or support work (home care, hospice, assisted living, or similar).
* A caring attitude with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with medication administration and basic first aid is a plus.
* Relevant health and social care qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
* Support with meal preparation and dietary needs.
* Administer medication and monitor client well-being.
* Provide companionship and emotional support.
* Assist with mobility and transfers safely.
* Maintain accurate care records and report concerns.
* Engage clients in social and stimulating activities.
* Help maintain a clean and safe living environment.
