Join Wilmslow Supported Living Network as a Community Support Worker. We are hiring two permanent part‑time roles (21 hours per week) to provide 24‑hour, person‑centred support at Wilmslow Supported Living Network, Handforth.
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred care and support.
* Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and dental hygiene.
* Support tenants with household tasks: cleaning, food shopping, meal preparation and managing finances.
* Help with medication and access to community services, including GP and hospital appointments.
* Keep clear and accurate care records.
* Support care planning and act as a key worker when required.
* Help tenants stay connected with family, friends and the local community.
* Carry out domestic tasks and follow health and safety requirements.
* Encourage independence and support participation in social activities.
About You / Qualifications
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and alternating weekends (shifts 7am–3pm / 3pm–10pm).
* Commitment to learning and development.
* Valid licence to drive a fleet vehicle for tenant support across the borough.
* NVQ Level 2 in Social Care (desirable).
* Knowledge of safeguarding, safer handling and first aid (desirable).
Pay & Benefits
£13.26–£13.47 per hour (grade 4) plus enhanced pay. Time and a half on weekends and bank holidays, double pay on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
