Job Purpose
Support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and standards through coaching, training, and direct fundraising activities, including meeting personal targets.
Working Hours: 37 hours, Wednesday to Sunday. Weekend work required.
Location: Across the Aire & Calder Navigation and Calder & Hebble Navigation, including Salterhebble, Stanley Ferry, Wakefield Branch, and Southfield reservoir at Goole.
The Canal & River Trust manages over 2000 miles of waterways in England and Wales, contributing to community health, biodiversity, and climate change mitigation.
Responsibilities
* Coach multiple teams, from lone workers to larger groups, to improve performance and meet income targets.
* Achieve individual fundraising targets through various activities, including face-to-face engagement and contactless donations.
* Lead by example in fundraising efforts, demonstrating values and behaviors.
* Visit teams on-site, provide coaching, training, and performance feedback, and ensure safety and compliance standards.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance incentives for fundraisers.
* Manage reports, data, and compliance in line with GDPR and security procedures.
* Support regional strategy and deputize for the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
* Driver’s License essential.
* Experience in face-to-face fundraising and team leadership.
* Proven track record of meeting performance targets.
* Ability to train, motivate, and develop fundraisers.
* Proficiency with IT systems, including contactless devices.

Salary: £32,000 plus benefits, including pension, holiday entitlement, and employee discounts.
