We are seeking leaders to support our network committee and executive office to lead and manage our wider organisation.
What difference will you make?
As leader you will be a key and senior volunteer within our team. You will ensure that the network is ran well and smoothly through empowering leaders and volunteers within our network. Our network in turn serves a large community and through strong back‑of‑house processes will allow for effective front‑of‑house output to our community and partners.
What are we looking for?
* Strong interpersonal skills and communication
* Experience in a leadership/management role with experience in at least one of the following areas Marketing, Brand Management, Media Production, Operations Management, HR, Volunteer Management, Strategy, Data and Research
* Has a good sense of humour.
* Is confident in meeting new people.
* Is computer literate.
* Good diary management and organisational skills
* Has a good level of written and spoken English.
* Has access to a computer including a strong internet connection.
* Aligns to the values and mission of Step Up.
What will you be doing?
Role Purpose
* To lead on a key area of our work (Marketing/Brand/Media; Operations/HR/Strategy OR Data/Evaluation/Research)
* To serve as a member of the executive team of the Step Up Group
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
* Develop, lead and implement strategy for your respective area.
* Lead a team of volunteers to empower and impact the work we’re doing.
* Challenge the thinking of others to ensure our organisation grows and becomes the best it can be.
* Attend executive team meetings.
* Represent Step Up as and when required.
