Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high standard of client care and legal service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on a varied caseload and will benefit from a supportive team environment. The role will see you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to clients by managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring their best interests are represented throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, right-to-buy and new build transactions.
· Manage your own caseload efficiently, using case management systems and ensuring deadlines and service standards are met.
· Advise clients on all legal aspects of conveyancing matters.
· Carry out title checks, draft and review contracts, raise and respond to enquiries, and deal with mortgage offers and lender requirements.
· Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions effectively.
· Ensure clients' best interests are represented throughout the process.
· Continue to develop relationships with an already established panel of agents.
· Ensure full compliance with regulatory and firm-wide risk management requirements including anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of conveyancing law and best practice.
· Deliver clear, professional advice to clients and maintain excellent levels of communication throughout each transaction.
· Assist with team development, including mentoring junior staff where appropriate.
Key Skills & Experience:
· Proven experience handling residential conveyancing files independently.
· Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing practice.
· Excellent communication and client care skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
· High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
· Proficient in using conveyancing software and MS Office applications.
Requirements:
· Qualified Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (CILEX), or equivalent experience in conveyancing.
· Used to managing your own residential property caseload.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
· Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
