We are seeking a qualified and experienced HR professional to join our board. We are at an exciting stage having completed a change management process due to a merger and planning to implement systems that will transform our day-to-day operations.

After a resignation after several years service, we need HR profession to join our board. From their HR perspective they will help us navigate continued growth and the transformational change we are planning moving to state of the art back office system. What are we looking for?
* A professional HR qualification
* Experience of working in HR at a senior or strategic level.
* Up to date knowledge of employment law and recent developments or access to this information
* Confidence to speak and advise at a strategic level
* A understanding of financial exclusion and values that align with what we are trying to achieve
* Hybrid
What will you be doing?
The role would be to provide light touch advice and support to the CEO on HR matters and bring your perspective to strategic discussions and decisions made by the board. The role is not operational or "hands on" but the candidate will need the flexibility to be able to speak to the CEO and advise at short notice on a very occasional basis. They must have an up-to-date knowledge of employment law changes and good practice. Experience or knowledge of change management and organisation development would be desirable.

Time Commitment
6 board meetings per year all are on online/hybrid. 1 AGM - online. 1 Annual Strategy Day that is face to face in the Hove office. The successful candidate will be a member of the HR Subgroup which reviews and approves pay reviews, restructures and HR policies, usually via email.
Term of Office
1/3 of directors stand down and re-stand for election at each AGM.
Appointment
Subject to references a DBS check and all directors will go on our FCA register.
