The opportunity
The successful candidate will be able to:
* Supervise students in examinations to ensure that they follow the rules and regulations of each exam.
* Prepare exam rooms before students arrive and collect scripts securely at the end.
* Follow instructions from the Exams Officer to ensure the smooth running of each exam session.
* Respond appropriately to queries raised by students during the exam.
* Help maintain a calm, supportive and fair environment for all candidates.
* Work as part of a team to uphold the highest standards of integrity during assessments.
Essential
* A high standard of literacy and numeracy.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Reliability, punctuality and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.
* Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work at different times during exam periods
Desirable
* Previous experience working in a school or exam environment.
* Experience in a supervisory or administrative role.
