About the role
The role will involve supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises during the lunch period. You will be expected to monitor the well-being and behaviour of the pupils and to also assist in the setting up/clearing away of the lunchtime areas, where necessary. A willingness to undertake first aid training would also be beneficial to the role. You will be working as part of a friendly and supportive team and a degree of flexibility may be required as the role may change throughout the year, depending on the needs of the pupils. You will be responsible to the Midday Coordinator and Headteacher.
You will work part time every day of the week.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Midday Supervisor, Haverhill you will:
1. Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
2. Have experience of working with children in a school or similar setting
3. Understand child protection and safeguarding issues
4. Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum)
5. Have some experience of working with children with SEND

Salary
£14 to £16 per hour.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
