If you are an enthusiastic HCPC registered Podiatrist, or about to become one and want to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our service, why not join us here in Fife. There are excellent clinical facilities and great teams to work in.
Applications are welcome from Podiatrists who meet the person specification, including those returning to practice after a break.
We are happy to receive applications from students about to graduate.
We pride ourselves on the excellent support mechanisms and development opportunities available to our staff. As a newly qualified practitioner you would be enrolled in the Flying Start programme and benefit from clinical supervision embedded within the service with an allocated mentor.
HCPC registration is essential for the post.
As the post requires the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive range of podiatric services, a self-motivated and enthusiastic clinician is essential. You will be required to manage a dedicated clinical and domiciliary caseload. This would include nail surgery, general clinics, wound care and MSK.
You would be using all your skills, knowledge and techniques within your scope of practice at this level.
You will be required to undertake regular professional development and clinical support sessions.
We are a large service and like to ensure our staff can develop to be able to be in a position to apply for permanent vacancies as they arise.
As a valuable member of the team you will join a department of dedicated professionals.
For informal enquiries, please contact Moira Dunsire, Clinical Service Manager on 01592 645285.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team. For more details on these changes please visit: Disclosure Scotland Changes.
