Job Title: Graduate – Business Improvement Engineer
Location: Telford
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday: 8:30-17:00
Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Business Process Improvement Manager, you will be a key member of the BI team, the role will provide support within the Window Systems Division.
To support the delivery of business improvement initiatives across the Division by applying analytical thinking, data-driven problem solving, and structured project support.
This graduate role is designed to develop future BI leaders by providing hands-on experience in continuous improvement, systems analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Accountabilities:
General
1. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
2. Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.

Technical
5. Assist in the delivery of improvement projects across manufacturing, warehousing, and support functions.
6. Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
7. Support the development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and visual management tools.
8. Participate in A3 problem-solving activities and Obeya-style project reviews.
9. Collaborate with BI Manager and site teams to implement lean tools and process improvements.
10. Contribute to the standardisation and documentation of BI processes and systems.
11. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
12. Degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Experience of Manufacturing, Warehousing & Distribution operations.

16. Project Management
17. Experience of Process/Change management.
18. Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
19. Experience with data analysis tools or ERP/MES systems (e.g., Navision, Mattec).
20. Full Driving License
