The Role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Team Manager to join our Community Learning Disability Team. You must be a dynamic, committed professional with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
This is a key leadership role supporting the Team Manager in the operational running of a busy and fast-paced team. You will carry a small caseload and manage complex work where priorities can shift quickly.

You will be joining a supportive and high-performing team in a multi-disciplinary environment where learning and development are valued.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing risk and achieving positive outcomes.
You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with partners, as well as having a proactive and professionally curious approach.
You’ll have a sound understanding of current and emerging legislation and best practice, as well as experience working across disciplines and with knowledge Court of Protection proceedings.
Our service has a strong partnership with Housing and Commissioning to develop and expand supported housing options across a range of needs. You must therefore be able to work effectively with colleagues in Health, Education, Housing, and the Voluntary sector.
