We’re working with a forward-thinking, education-focused organisation whose mission is to provide exceptional education at the heart of the community. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join their friendly and supportive team.
This role is open to candidates at all levels – you might already be in a similar support role, just finished an IT course, or simply have a strong interest in tech and the motivation to learn. Full training will be provided, and there’s a clear pathway for career progression.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the smooth running of IT systems to help teaching, learning, and admin run efficiently
Providing technical support both in classrooms and deskside across multiple sites
Helping staff and students with their use of IT and AV equipment
Setting up and maintaining PCs, Macs, and other devices
Installing and updating software, managing access rights, and keeping systems secure
Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
Collaborating with the wider IT service desk team to share knowledge and offer training
What we’re looking for:
Some hands-on experience or formal training in IT – OR a real passion for technology and helping people
Strong communication skills and a helpful, solutions-focused attitude
Interest or experience in audio-visual (AV) equipment is a bonus
Any Microsoft or IT certifications (e.g. MCDST, MCP) are great, but not essential
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
