Part-Time Team Leader HU7 Area of Hull Monday to Friday 7pm to 11pm £15.74 per hour Summary of Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - FMCG Food Production Environment Ensure that all production activities within the department are carried out in accordance with established food safety, quality, and operational standards. Accurately record batch codes, use-by dates, and follow appropriate stock control and traceability procedures. Ensure all records are correctly completed on audit sheets and input into the FOPS system in real time. Maintain strict stock rotation practices (FIFO) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness. Conduct regular visual inspections of products. Immediately report any quality or safety non-conformances to the Technical Team or Senior Management. Support onboarding and ongoing development of new team members through hands-on training and mentoring in line with company SOPs. Adhere to and uphold all company hygiene, food safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies at all times. Ensure correct handling and storage of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within designated temperature-controlled areas. Supervise production operatives daily, ensuring that targets are met while maintaining high standards of product quality, housekeeping, discipline, and health & safety. Accurately record and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, waste, downtime, and quality. Communicate any operational issues, incidents, or risks promptly to area team leaders or production managers. Demonstrate flexibility during production peaks, adapting shift priorities and supporting the team to meet demand. Ensure that all team members consistently meet required standards in line with customer and regulatory expectations.
