(Start Date: September 2024) We're seeking a talented and dedicated Physics teacher to join our dynamic team at a successful co-educational secondary school in Hounslow. This is an exciting one-year fixed-term contract opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of students, fostering a love of learning and a deep understanding of the physical world. What You'll Do: Craft and deliver captivating Physics lessons for students across various age groups (potentially KS3, KS4 and/or KS5). Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and a passion for discovery. Play a vital role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites student interest in Physics. Guide and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential. Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of your students, fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to share best practices and continuously improve the science curriculum. Who You Are: A qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in Physics. Minimum of 1 year's experience in a secondary school setting (more experience a plus). Possess an in-depth knowledge of Physics principles and a passion for science that sparks curiosity in students. Adept at creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. A strong believer in fostering a love of science and encouraging students to explore the physical world. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
