The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling machines. Upon the manufacture of machined parts, you will be responsible for quality control, through the use of manual & digital measuring instruments.

Main Responsibilities
Set and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis vertical milling machines.
Prove out jobs.
Ensure quality is met throughout the shift.
Identify and communicate any issues which arise throughout the shift.
Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing.
Use CMM, verniers, micrometers, gauges, calipers.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed.
Identify and develop manufacturing improvements / procedures.

The Candidate
Time served engineer (desirable but not essential).
Knowledge of vertical machining centres.
3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling experience.
Understanding and knowledge of manual and digital measuring instruments.
Knowledge of GD&T.
