Role: Finance Analyst
Length: 12 month FTC
Salary: £42k DOE
About the Role
Support the Financial Controller with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting processes.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts
* Help produce key financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and cost tracking
* Prepare basic journals and assist with reconciliations (including intercompany and balance sheet items)
* Support cash collection tracking and follow up on outstanding actions
* Assist in producing intercompany recharge invoices and ad-hoc billing
* Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting outputs
* Support ongoing process improvements and system efficiency initiatives
* Carry out ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required
Qualifications
* Part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
Required Skills
* Around 1–2 years’ experience in a finance
* Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
* Experience or exposure to SAP (essential) and other finance systems is an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines with guidance
* Proactive attitude and interest in improving processes
