Job responsibilities - Provide confidential secretarial/administration support to Consultants - Receiving and responding to internal and external correspondence, taking appropriate and timely action as required, in accordance with departmental standards - Handling queries, liaising with other departments and Colleagues when necessary - Managing urgent reports for inpatients, outpatients and GPs as per designated protocol. - Processing PET scan referrals and reports - Managing and maintaining central email inboxes appropriately and responding to queries in a timely manner. - Sending and receiving images via Radiology IT systems - Providing general admin support to the Radiology department as a whole, including the Admin Team Lead and Radiology General Manager where necessary - Liaising with other Medical Secretaries in the department to ensure cross-site cover when staff are unavailable
