Role Overview
Responsible for planning and designing the district distribution network, ensuring system stewardship, network security, and integrity. You will analyze system performance, determine reinforcement requirements, and develop solutions aligned with Asset Management policies. Working within the Lanarkshire district team, you will design projects ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design investment schemes to improve network performance and enable efficient delivery.
2. Prepare and deliver project plans to meet district goals and minimize outages.
3. Review system performance and develop investment proposals for improvements.
4. Apply innovative solutions in design, technology, procedures, or commercial aspects.
5. Deliver business plan outputs aligned with financial and regulatory targets.
6. Promote safety culture and incorporate safety legislation into all designs.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience as a Programme/Project Coordinator, with a track record of delivering projects or initiatives.
* Engineering/professional qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience in network design, construction, and operations.
* Knowledge of regulatory environment and incentive mechanisms.
* Understanding of the commercial environment.
* Problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
* Ability to manage priorities using sound engineering and financial judgment.
* Computer literacy, including SAP and network design tools.
