Job Title: Stores Operative
Salary: £12 - £13.85 p/h & Time and a half overtime pay. PAYE
Shifts: 7 on 7 off - 12 hour shifts 6am - 6pm
Contract: 12 months then review to see if extended.

Are you ready to be a part of the renewable energy revolution? Our client, a leader in the energy industry, is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Stores Operatives onshore at their Moray West Site based in Buckie supporting the Offshore Windfarm. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the storage and logistics requirements. You would be helping pick parts in the warehouse onshore and transport them to the dock for loading onto vessels using a crane, to then be transported offshore.
Responsibilities:
Use a FLT (Forklift Truck) to pick parts in the warehouse and transport them to the dock for loading onto vessels using a crane.
Receive training for the use of cranes, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Utilise SAP for order processing, picking parts, and general warehouse duties.
Work closely with the team members who work Wed-Wed, starting on Saturday for a smooth handover.
Handle dangerous goods and receive necessary training to ensure safety.
Requirements:
Previous experience in stores or material control, ideally within wind or similar industry.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, at the project location.
Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, with IT literacy and familiarity with MS Office Applications and SAP being desirable.
Ability to commute to Buckie, Scotland within a 45-minute distance.
