Temporary SEN Teaching Assistants Required – Specialist College
Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for temporary cover positions within a specialist further education college in Dorset.
The setting provides day and residential support for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions and additional social, emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and group basis
* Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
* Promoting student engagement and independence
* Providing cover support across the provision as required
Requirements:
* Previous SEN experience essential
* Experience with ASC and/or SEMH preferred
* Flexible and dependable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
