GSL Education are seeking a passionate KS1 Teacher to join schools in Nottingham from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, nurture pupils’ curiosity, and help them develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and wider learning. Responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and stimulating lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils. Support children’s personal, social, and academic growth through a positive classroom environment. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities. Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and set achievable learning goals. Promote good behaviour, self-confidence, and independence in the classroom. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection. Requirements for KS1 Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is desirable. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. A nurturing and supportive approach to teaching and learning. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
