GP – Health Assessment Doctor Location: Flexible / Clinic-based Rate: £70 per hour Contract: Flexible (sessions available, including evenings/weekends) About the Role We are currently recruiting for a GP – Health Assessment Doctor to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within a leading private healthcare setting. This role focuses on health screening, preventative medicine, and lifestyle-based patient care, offering a varied and engaging clinical workload without the pressures of traditional NHS general practice. You will conduct comprehensive health assessments, interpret results, and provide tailored advice, referrals, and ongoing care planning for patients. Key Responsibilities * Deliver full primary care and health screening services in line with clinical best practice * Conduct comprehensive physical examinations (including cardiovascular, neurological, MSK, and more) * Interpret diagnostic results including ECGs and blood tests * Provide clear, patient-focused reports and lifestyle advice * Manage patient pathways, including referrals and follow-ups * Support preventative health initiatives and promote wellbeing * Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to governance standards * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes Essential Requirements * GMC registered GP with licence to practise * Significant experience working as a qualified GP * Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine and clinical governance * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Confident in performing health assessments and examinations * IT literate with strong report-writing ability Desirable * Experience in health screening or preventative healthcare * Background in private healthcare * Experience in enhanced services (e.g. minor surgery, travel medicine, family planning) * ALS certification (ILS essential – training can be provided) What’s on Offer * Competitive £70 per hour rate * Flexible working patterns * Modern, well-equipped clinical environments * Focus on quality over quantity of patient care * Opportunities for professional development and clinical innovation Apply Now If you’re a motivated GP looking to move into a more preventative, patient-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you
