Overview
We are recruiting for an inspirational Community Learning Lecturer, with specific responsibility for Family Learning, within the Oxfordshire Adult Learning (OAL) faculty. OAL is a large, award-winning faculty of Abingdon and Witney College offering a wide range of adult learning courses including qualification based courses, leisure learning courses and works extensively with community partners across Oxfordshire.
Salary: £34,391 - £44,558 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Weeks per annum: 52. Working pattern: Monday - Thursday 7.5 hours, Friday 7 hours. Location: Abingdon Campus. Contract type: Permanent.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching on our Family Learning and Community Learning provision.
* Support, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their full potential.
* Contribute to curriculum development within the Oxfordshire Adult Learning faculty.
* Work collaboratively within a passionate and experienced team.
* Participate in employer and community engagement activities to enhance students’ employability.
* Maintain accurate records in line with College requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, AET).
* English and maths at Level 2 or above.
* Ability to relate to diverse learner groups.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting well-being.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Teaching experience in a Primary School setting and/or previous teaching experience with adults.
* Willingness and ability to travel between venues to deliver workshops and courses within schools and the wider community.
