Job Summary

Our Civil Engineering team in Liverpool is growing with a need for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major Infrastructure project in the heart of Liverpool's Docklands.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position requires someone with a proven track record in large Civil Engineering schemes. The ideal candidate will have come from a main contracting background and will have had experience within Heavy Civils environment across a number of sectors.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for detailed cost control and recovery of value on the project, either by themselves or by effective management of staff resources. The successful candidate will have experience with a number of Contracts but predominantly with the use of NEC 3 and 4 Main Options A, B & C.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
1. Establishing the project budget including the allocation of cost codes to ensure detailed and accurate cost reporting is achieved.
2. Review of main contract and subcontract terms and conditions, inclusive of stepping down conditions from main contract to subcontract.
