About Us
PURR Glasgow is Scotland's first cat-only grooming salon, a busy, creative space that has already groomed over 500 cats since opening in early 2025. We're passionate about feline welfare, creating a calm environment for our furry clients, and building a community around responsible cat care.
We're now looking for a part-time Admin & Social Media Assistant to help keep the salon running smoothly and share the PURR story online.
What You'll Do
No two days will be the same, but your role could include:
* Taking care of salon laundry (towels, blankets, aprons)
* Helping keep the salon tidy and stocked up
* Managing client messages, booking confirmations, and deposits (via email, Instagram, and Moego booking system)
* Capturing behind-the-scenes salon content (photos/videos of grooms, salon life)
* Creating and posting social media updates (Reels, TikToks, Instagram/Facebook posts)
* Running small errands (supplies, post office) when needed
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* A cat lover (must be comfortable around cats, though you won't be grooming)
* Social media savvy (basic photo/video editing on phone is enough: Canva/TikTok/Instagram knowledge a plus)
* Organised, proactive, and happy to muck in with whatever's needed
* Friendly and professional: you'll sometimes be a first point of contact for PURR clients
* Based in/near Glasgow and able to get to Morris Park on occassion
