We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Research & Rights team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Research and Rights systems, processes and project management environments.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Administer Research and Rights' Smartsheet environment including maintenance and administration of all task tracking sheets, Active Edits, reports, project status dashboards, user accounts, training and onboarding of new users.
* Administer Research and Rights authored x-platform processes including any interfacing between internal and external systems such as Lucid Link, Premier Pro, Iconik, Smartsheet.
* Provide support to Offline and Online edits with preparation of edits for conversion to EDLs, shot lists and channel/track management.
* Support Media Managers, Researchers and Editors with delivery of Lo Res proxies into edit timelines.
* Support internal and external production teams with Project Management. This will include scheduling meetings and project ceremonies; compiling agendas, action points, owners and deadlines; tracking task delivery, coordinating comms across teams and supporting with conflict resolution and removal of project blockers.
* Support Research and Rights managers and partners with authoring project playbooks, frameworks and developing PM environments so they are equally efficient across campaigns of all shapes and sizes.
* Manage capture, cleaning and archiving of Research and Rights data across all production touchpoints.
* Author and maintain Research and Rights internal reporting tools to track traffic, output velocity, project sizing and resource allocation.
* Support Senior Operations manager and other Research and Rights Managers with ongoing process optimization and closing operational gaps between internal and external teams.
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven experience working with brands, archive houses, rights holders and governing bodies.
* Highly experienced in communicating with key client stakeholders.
* Previous experience in a client-facing role.
* Smartsheet administration and solution building including advanced formulas, cross sheet lookups, automations, API calls and add on modules such as Data Shuttle and Dynamic View.
* Customer/client/user focused solutions building including forms, request/task intake and automation of routine tasks.
* Familiarity with process scripting using Python, Automation Blocks, JSON and other platform to platform protocols.
* Advanced knowledge of licensing best practice, Archive research and Media Management workflows.
* Advanced understanding of how Archive is managed within production lifecycles specific to branded content and TVCs.
* Project or Production Management experience with emphasis on Lean/Agile practice and methodology.
* Previous experience in a sports media/production business (preferable, not essential).
Working Conditions
* This is a 12-month full-time fixed-term contract.
* The role is based at our office in Chiswick Park, with occasional requirement to work from our facility in Stockley Park and at partner agencies.
