You will provide high quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions. As a Band 6 RN, you will demonstrate strong clinical leadership, support junior staff, and contribute to service improvement and patient flow. You will work collaboratively within the MDT, ensuring safe, compassionate and timely care in a fast-paced environment, while upholding Trust values and promoting continuous professional development. Substantive and secondment (maternity leave cover) opportunities available. Advert As a Band 6 RN in the ED, you will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high quality, patient centred care. You will coordinate the clinical area, including Majors, RATs and Resus, ensuring safe staffing, effective patient flow, and timely escalation of care. Acting as a clinical leader, you will support, supervise, and teach junior staff and students. You will respond to clinical deterioration, liaise closely with the MDT, and ensure compliance with policies, standards and national guidance, while contributing to audit, service improvement and quality initiatives.
