Overview
Pay: £13.39 per hour
Hours: Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off. 20:30 – 08:30. Average weekly hours: 42
Location: Bristol, UK
Responsibilities
* Out-of-hours reception cover, providing a welcoming and secure presence
* Internal foot patrols to ensure safety, security, and compliance
* Monitoring access and maintaining accurate logs
* Responding to incidents professionally and promptly
* Protect the site by preventing unauthorised access, responding to alarms and CCTV activity
* Carrying out regular patrols and reporting issues or security concerns
* Follow company policies, manage keys and equipment responsibly, and record all incidents accurately
* Support Health & Safety by promoting safe practices, reporting hazards, and providing First Aid if trained
* Help prevent loss and crime by reporting theft or suspicious behaviour, completing investigations and written reports, and carrying out stop and search when required
* Provide excellent customer service, assist staff and visitors professionally, and maintain a smart appearance
* Complete daily tasks, provide accurate handovers, and support additional duties or events as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
* SIA Licence (essential) or working towards
* Full UK Driving Licence (own transport desirable but not essential)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Clean criminal record
* Five-year checkable employment history
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Punctual, reliable, and flexible with shifts (days/nights/weekends)
* First Aid qualification (preferred)
