Trainer / Business Support – Enterprise Data Products
Role Description
Fixed-term contract inside IR35 for 6 months, with possible extensions. Immediate start. Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Applicants must have existing right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
Location: Leeds, United Kingdom.
Relevant Experience: 6-10 years.
Role Overview
The Trainer / Business Support role is responsible for delivering scalable training, enablement, and business-facing support for enterprise data products. The focus is on driving user adoption, confidence, and effective usage of data platforms through structured training programmes, high‑quality documentation, and responsive support services.
The role works closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Delivery teams to ensure platform changes, releases, and enhancements are clearly communicated and effectively enabled across internal and external user communities.
Scope of Coverage

Key Responsibilities
* Training & Enablement Delivery
o Design and deliver scalable training for large and diverse user communities (up to ~3,000 users), including internal colleagues and external users.
o Deliver onboarding training using virtual instructor‑led sessions, recorded modules, and self‑service learning assets.
o Ensure training content is consistent, accessible, and aligned with data product standards, governance, and usage policies.
* Ongoing Training & Release Enablement
o Provide ongoing training aligned to platform releases, feature enhancements, and UX updates.
o Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts to translate platform changes into clear, business‑friendly training and communications.
o Maintain and refresh training materials to support continuous adoption as platforms evolve.
* Business Facing Support & Engagement
o Operate as a business‑facing enablement and support function, responding to user queries and usage questions.
o Act as a trusted point of contact, supporting confidence in data products, dashboards, and reports.
o Capture recurring issues and feedback, sharing insights with product and delivery teams to support continuous improvement.
* Knowledge Management & Documentation
o Create and maintain high‑quality user guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
o Ensure documentation aligns with governance, data usage, security, and compliance standards.
o Support onboarding and ongoing learning through clear best practice guidance.
* Adoption, Feedback & Continuous Improvement
o Monitor training effectiveness and user engagement to continuously improve enablement outcomes.
o Support broader adoption and data literacy initiatives across the organisation.
o Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and user experience of enablement services.

* Proven experience designing and delivering scalable training and enablement for large user communities.
* Ability to translate complex data and platform concepts into clear, business‑friendly language.
* Experience supporting onboarding, ongoing training, and release‑based enablement.
* Strong business‑facing support experience, responding effectively to user queries.
* Demonstrated expertise in documentation, knowledge management, and self‑service enablement.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across product, engineering, and analytics teams.
