Were looking for a Team Leader to join NGAGE, our early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged 10:18 in Northamptonshire. Delivered by Aquarius, a charity helping individuals and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs, and gambling, NGAGE provides early support, education, and tailored interventions.
As Team Leader, youll play a central role in service delivery and operational management. Your leadership will ensure clinical quality, service compliance, and a strong team culture, all while maintaining person:centred care and safeguarding best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting staff, including induction, coaching, and development reviews
* Ensuring services meet all quality, policy and statutory standards
* Managing performance and supporting the recruitment of staff and volunteers
* Liaising with commissioners and external partners
* Overseeing data reporting and budget monitoring
* Championing Aquarius values and mission
Youll bring strong leadership skills and significant experience supporting individuals in addictions, mental health, or social care settings : particularly with young people.
Youll also need:
* A professional qualification in health, social care, youth work or similar (e.g. NVQ Level 4+, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies)
* Proven experience in the substance misuse field, with up:to:date knowledge of drugs, alcohol and associated health issues
* Familiarity with effective behaviour change interventions, such as motivational interviewing or psychoeducation
* Staff supervision or management experience, plus strong partnership working skills across statutory and voluntary services
* A solid understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
* Strong IT and case management skills, and a flexible, strengths:based approach
