Develop and implement robust costing models to support accurate financial planning and reporting.
Analyse production costs and identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and pricing strategies.
Oversee the preparation of cost forecasts and budgets to support financial decision-making.
Provide detailed cost analysis and reports to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals in the costing function.
Identify and implement process improvements within costing operations.
Profile A successful Head of Costing should have:
A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Proven expertise in costing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Experience in leading and developing teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
