* Tuesday 9am-5pm
* Wednesday 9am-5pm
* Thursday 9am-4pm
* Friday 9am-5pm
This post will be based at Number 11 in Dalkeith to support the Joint Mental Health Team, Substance Use Service and Justice, and will also provide cover to services within Midlothian HSCP when the need arises.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality administrative support to the Midlothian Joint Mental Health Team.
* Support the multi‑disciplinary team and those who experience our services, including competent use of TRAK and G2.
* Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the department.
* Provide a meet and greet service at Number 11 Reception.
* Work alongside multiple teams to support the delivery of high‑quality patient care.
* Increase confidence in dealing with the public and improve effective communication skills in the workplace.
Qualifications and Requirements
* HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Advanced keyboard skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
* Good organisational skills.
* Good working knowledge of computer software packages.
* Good working knowledge of G2.
* Medical terminology knowledge.
* Good awareness of trauma‑informed practice.
* PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not a current PVG member, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before beginning in post.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
