Join Our Award-Winning brand! We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Grill Chef to take a leading role in our busy neighbourhood burger restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced grill chef who thrives in high-volume environments and wants to help drive standards, consistency, and food quality to the next level.
This is not an entry-level role we are looking for someone confident running a busy grill section, managing service flow, and maintaining exceptional food standards under pressure.
Mandatory Requirements (Please Only Apply If You Meet These) Minimum 2 years experience as a grill chef in a busy burger restaurant
Proven experience working with delivery platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats
Strong experience working both independently and as part of a team
Solid understanding of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and HACCP
Experience completing and maintaining compliance documentation
Ability to taste and adjust seasoning to ensure consistently high food quality
Confident communicating and coordinating with the FOH team to ensure a high-level guest experience
The Role
You will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, acting as a senior presence during service and helping oversee daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Running and controlling a busy grill section during high-volume service
Cooking and assembling burgers and fried items to precise specifications
Ensuring consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation
Working closely with FOH to ensure smooth service and excellent guest feedback
Managing delivery orders efficiently while maintaining in-house quality standards
Leading by example in cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism
Ensuring all food is stored, labelled, and rotated correctly
Maintaining full compliance with Health & Safety and food safety systems
Supporting kitchen supervision, set-up, and close-down procedures
