The Employment and Skills team is recruiting a Project Officer to support the Careers Hub in delivering the Employment and Skills strategy in East Sussex. The role involves supporting the delivery and management of projects and programmes, including a primary schools-focused project, and assisting local businesses and educational institutions with careers, employment, and skills initiatives. The successful candidate will also lead specific areas within the team, such as producing research and communication materials about projects, compiling reports, and overseeing information management systems.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who
* Can plan and organise varied workloads
* Communicate effectively with diverse audiences
* Can influence and support change using negotiation skills
* Interpret and analyse complex data
* Can monitor budgets effectively
* Have working knowledge of employment and skills support, particularly for young people
* Have knowledge of the Careers Education landscape nationally and locally, with a focus on primary education
