About the role:
As a Science Teacher, you’ll develop and deliver an engaging science curriculum within a specialist education setting. You’ll support students with diverse and challenging needs, primarily related to social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. This position is ideal for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has strong subject knowledge in Science
* Is enthusiastic about working with hard-to-reach students and committed to unlocking their potential
* Brings creativity, resilience, and a passion for inspiring curiosity in STEM subjects
Experience with restorative approaches or trauma-informed practices would be advantageous, though full training will be provided.
The school supports secondary-aged students who cannot access mainstream education due to social, emotional, or mental health challenges. You’ll join a team of dedicated educators committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving environment for all learners.
