Accounts Payable Manager

Location:
Flexible working with time spent (weekly) in the Bradford Office

Salary:
up to £45,251 depending on skills and experience

Are you looking for a role where you can combine people leadership with driving process improvements and financial controls? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll lead a team of Supervisors and Financial Administrators, ensuring we deliver a professional, accurate and customer-focused service across the Accounts Payable function.

What you'll be doing:

* Leading and developing your team, creating a culture of continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
* Overseeing the delivery of daily, weekly and month-end financial processes, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
* Acting as a subject matter expert for Accounts Payable supporting transformation and change projects.
* Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with all internal and external standards.
* Working closely with Treasury and other Finance teams to ensure effective cashflow management and accurate reporting.

What we're looking for:

* Strong background in transactional finance, with at least 5 years' experience in high-volume AP/AR environments.
* Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams to achieve great results.
* Skilled in reconciliations, banking processes and financial systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong customer focus.
* AAT/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, studying towards or qualified by experience.
