My client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment operating in the aerospace and medical industries. They are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in their facility based just outside of the Tewkesbury area.
Key Responsibilities Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
* Designing and developing mechanical engineering solutions to deliver new and existing projects.
* Supporting manufacturing operations through fault diagnosis and developing necessary solutions.
* Becoming proficient with mechanical design and simulation tools.
* Developing skills in the application of mathematical principles to solve engineering problems.
* Giving advice on the best mechanical solutions, considering cost and timescales, while delivering maximum performance and reliability.
Key Experience Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
* Educated to Degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
* A working knowledge of engineering calculations.
* Proficient with design software, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
* Experience in design and manufacturing would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of basic electronic principles is desirable.
