Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities
* Working safely at all times, escalating issues that present a hazard to yourself or others including all persons on site or members of the public.
* Following company / local site rules and adherence to company values.
* Respond to breakdowns, systematically find faults, identify root cause and then implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
* Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency.
* Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime.
* Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase process robustness and reliability.
Requirements
* Multi-skilled to some degree with credible, demonstrable electrical and / or mechanical experience in an industrial environment.
* Qualified Mechanic / Electrical / Multiskilled having served a recognised apprenticeship.
* Pneumatics, hydraulics demonstrable on the job experience is a requirement.
* Minimum NVQ level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds.
* Experience & understanding of an automated process environment is essential.
* PLC / Scada / Controls understanding & experience.

Salary: £41,903 - £45,100 Per Annum. This is a Full time, Permanent position.
