Supply Teacher – Durham Secondary Schools
February half term start, flexible contract (part time or full time), up to £160 per day depending on experience.
Teaching Personnel is recruiting Supply Teachers for secondary schools across Durham. You'll work at various schools covering lessons for KS3 and KS4 students across different departments. No planning or marking responsibilities. Flexibility to work when it suits you.
The role involves covering a variety of lessons and subjects, so you need to be confident stepping into unfamiliar classrooms and building relationships with students quickly. If you have a subject specialism you prefer teaching, schools can be flexible and acknowledge this when organising your timetable.
You need:
QTS (in any subject)
Flexibility to work at different schools during the week
Experience with KS3 and KS4 students (desirable)
Confidence and ability to build relationships quickly
Capacity to start and hit the ground running
Durham schools have good transport links and secure car parks. You get the flexibility of choosing part time or full time hours, working at different schools in your local area, and earning up to £180 per day based on your experience.

Pay: Up to £160 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
