About the Role
As Program Manager, you will lead the implementation of World Vision’s strategy in Western Australia — supporting regional project teams, collaborating with First Nations partner organisations, and ensuring high-impact community development outcomes.
You’ll be instrumental in:
* Supporting and overseeing regional projects, ensuring strong alignment with WVA’s goals and community aspirations
* Leading the transition of a flagship early childhood development project
* Building and strengthening relationships with First Nations organisations and government partners
* Leading the implementation of the WA Regional Area Plan
* Supporting fundraising through field visits, donor engagement, and partnership building
* Providing leadership, mentorship, and care to a committed team of Project Managers
Who We’re Looking For
You are a natural leader with a deep understanding of the cultural, social, and political realities faced by Aboriginal communities in Western Australia. You’re passionate about strengths-based sustainable development and experienced in building trusted partnerships that deliver long-term change.
You will bring:
* A strong background in community development or social services
* Proven experience working with remote Aboriginal communities
* Deep knowledge of WA Indigenous affairs policy, especially in children and youth sectors
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
* Experience managing funded agreements and stakeholder partnerships
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and cultural competency skills
