Location: Burnley, Lancashire
We are now looking for a Development Chemist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a junior management role with two reports, which could easily lead to a more senior management position.

The Role
As a Development Chemist Team Leader, you will support the creation and testing of new water quality instrumentation products. Your focus will be on advancing sensor technologies, fine-tuning their accuracy and functionality to ensure reliability in real-world conditions. You will plan and execute testing procedures, evaluate complex data sets, and present insights that guide product improvements.
Additionally, You Will
* Procure materials and record stock quantities
* Create risk assessments and follow COSHH regulations
* Manage two reports
* Join the Management Advisory Group
About You
To be considered, you will need:
* Laboratory experience
* An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
* A good chemistry degree or equivalent qualification
Other titles for this role may include Research and Development Chemist, Laboratory Chemist, R&D Chemist, Sensor Development Chemist, or Analytical Chemist.
