Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Development Team as the Tenancy Training Officer. This role is vital to empowering people across Somerset to build a more stable and independent future.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tenancy training schemes including the Tenant Ready Scheme, ASDAN programmes and the Tenant Accreditation Scheme.
* Provide housing guidance to clients aged 16 and over, helping them make informed choices about their future.
* Collaborate with local partners and deliver flexible, person‑centred training and support.
* Travel across various sites and properties throughout Somerset to reach clients.
* Maintain accurate training records, reports and client progress data.
* Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all children and young people.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance.
* Ability to carry out a safer recruitment process and be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
* Provide two suitable references.
* Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to protecting children and young people.
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in training or tenancy support is desirable.
