Teaching Assistant – KS3 and KS4
Location: Chichester, West Sussex

A large, inclusive, and well‑resourced academy with strong community values, extensive facilities, a wide curriculum, and excellent SEND support integrated across the school rather than through a designated unit is seeking a creative and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join their team!
This is a full-time, permanent role, operating on a term-time only schedule at 39 weeks a year.
The Role
You will be responsible for working alongside the classroom teachers to support the students learning. As a teaching assistant you will be working with individuals or small groups in the school’s specialist learning support areas as well as supporting within the mainstream classrooms, making a real difference to the students and their progress!

* Able to support students to access mainstream lessons across the school
* Able to develop an understanding of the needs of the students you are supporting
* Flexible and adaptable to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department
* Can work calmly under pressure
Working Hours
* Full-time, Monday-Friday
* 32.5 hours per week
* Term-time only (39 weeks per year)
* Permanent contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
