This newly created Fund Accountant will form a key part of the Finance team for one the growing Private Equity Firm Paying £55,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and currently operating a 4 day a week in the office with a Discretionary bonus. Located right next to Piccadilly Circus
Role
This Fund Accountant Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the Financial Controller in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.
1. Daily management of the private equity funds (including the fund accounting elements of investment purchases and realisations etc)
2. Preparation of carried interest and management fee calculations in accordance with the fund documentation
3. Preparation of group reporting, quarterly accounts and capital statements for investors and co-investors
4. Preparation of the investor drawdowns and distributions
5. Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with required GAAP (US, Lux etc)
6. Liaise with auditors, lawyers and tax advisors and other teams within the group (US and Jersey Finance, Deal teams, Group Treasury, Group Reporting, etc)
7. Coordination of the provision of information for tax reporting purposes
8. Investment transaction support as required
9. Ad hoc projects (eg system implementation and improvement)
10. Dealing with ad hoc investor and other queries

12. Someone who's newly quailed or Finalist Level ACA

Salary & Benefits
Salary is bench marked between £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. Additionally, there is a Discretionary bonus and hybrid working of 4 days in the office. As well as various Annual trips such as Skiing and summer trips and work from anywhere in the month of July.
